Enough Rain Already!

Alright, I know that rain is good for the crops and flowers and all that stuff, but come on enough already! I think we all just got spoiled with the early spring weather so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. This nasty weather though has been getting to my allergies and sinuses. I see the specialist this Wednesday so I hope that he will be able to get me under control. This weekend was pretty relaxing for Jason and I. Friday night we watched Cinderella Man, a good movie, if you get a chance you should watch it. Saturday, Steve, Erin, and Seth came up. Always good to see them. Seth is walking around like crazy and starting to babble dadada, which of course Erin hates :) Erin and I headed to Kohl's (bad idea), haha but I did have a 15% off coupon. Sunday I was down again with the sinus problems in my head. So, it was a lazy day for me and Tressel and Jason just lounged and watched some television. Less than a week though and we are outta here for the Bahamas for 5 days! I can't wait, seems like forever ago we set everything up and here it is already. I just hope it ISN"T raining there! Hope everything has a good start to your week!

Sick

Unfortunately, I have been under the weather the past few days. Finally broke down and went to the doctor and found out I had a pretty bad sinus infection as suspected. My head felt like it was the size of a hot air balloon. So yeah, I'm doing a little better today. I still am not up to my norm, but doing better. Tressel was glad to have me home for a couple of days, luckily he seemed to understand that I wasn't home to play and he napped with me for most of the day. I don't like missing work and I don't like being sick so I'm glad that I'm on the mends. I have been having so many problems with my allergies lately the doctor referred me to an allergist who I'm seeing next Wednesday so I hope that he can get this under control. It really stinks sneezing like 30 times a day while I take medicine too. Sometime isn't adding up, so I hope he can get to the bottom of it. Enough about my sickness I know boo-hoo for me huh? Well we are getting the rain that we needed but unfortunate though since we have been spoiled lately with the perfect weather. I hope that everyone is doing well.

Growing Up

This isn't the first post with this title. Funny how things change. Jason had a revelation the other day that he is getting older as well. We bought a mower on Sunday and he mowed part of the lawn Sunday before the rain and finished it last night. Yesterday, he said he was talking to one of his customers about lawn mowers and they were comparing the mowers they own and had a good discussion on mowers. He realized at that time that things have changed, ha-ha. Well I told him that I took pictures of my flowers and posted them on here. Last night my older brother called and about 50% of our conversation was devoted to talking about our lawn work and different plants and flowers we have planted, amazing how things change, ha-ha. A couple of weeks ago my little brother came up and we went to Menards and worked on the yard and planted some things. I never thought I would enjoy yard work and gardening, but wow have times changed. I actually really enjoy it, even though it is hard work at times, it really can be relaxing. So, the point of this is, it is funny how our priorites change the older we get. Everyday I feel like I learn so much more. On a lighter note, Jason was mowing the backyard last night and Tressel with hovering close to me as I was grilling out some chicken. Well he ventured a little closer to Jason. Probably about 90% of the lawn was mowed and that darn puppy ran over where there were about 4 more lines to mow and he squatted to poop right in front of Jason and the mower nonetheless. So yeah it was pretty comical and pretty gross all at the same time. Hope everyone has a great day!
